FARAJA Centre is a Non-Governmental organization,
registered by the governments of Tanzania in 2006.FARAJA was formed and registered by red. No 0688 under Non –govt-organisatin Act of 2002 of TZ Laws .

FOUNDERS

FARAJA CENTRE (F.C) was designed and founded by Pastor ALOYCE MBUGHI WITH HIS WIFE ( CATHERINE A. MBUGHI )

PURPOSE:
1) Being an Orphan Mr Aloyce felt so sad and sorrowful when he lost both parents this is one of the basic REASONS led him to establish the FARAJA ORPHANAGE CENTRE. To Assist protect defend and bring up the kinds who had lost their parents just like him. It happened that the street children liked to stay at Aloyce’s home in the day time daily .they began to provide them food (lunch) regularly later his wife said “We must live with them day and night as well”Aloyce repelled “OK-lets rent a room and live with them permanently ,and they did”

2) ACTIVITIES AND (F.C)/ DEPARTIMENTS:
Presently: FARAJA has several departments:-
(i) FARAJA ORPHANAGE DEPARTMENT
(ii) F.C –WIDOWS DEPT.
(iii) F.C-HIV/AIDS VICTIMS DEPT.
(iv) F.C-OLD MEN &WOMEN DEPT.
(v) FARAJA ACADEMIC DEPT (Schools and Training Centers.)

3) SPONSORS: Currently FARAJA has got no any sponsors to support its budget of over 43,000,000/=Tanzanian currency equiv to 43,000US$

ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES

SCHOOLS:
We have discovered that the SIMPLEST way through which we could help these ORPHANS and other people in need as well, is by providing them FREE EDUCATION, which in turn will instill and create in them a FUTURE HOPE which they completely lost when their loved ones passed away .The light of the Education will give them better Expectations. That’s why we have this Academic plan as follow

We have already begun: FARAJA ACADEMY (schools) Pre & Primary English medium schools. However we need a LAND. Orphans and poor will study free.

OUR ACTUAL EXPECTATIONS:
We are sure 100% that if above academic plan succeeds we will never again be in need of any SPONSORSHIP. The schools centre workshop and the offices will be our Main reliable SPONSORS. We won’t be Dependant again.

SERVICES:
FARAJA ORPHANAGE: gives service to 42 children 18 of them are living at centre while 24 others are assisted while at their guardians residents outside FARAJA CENTRE (F.C)

BUILDINGS OF FARAJA
FARAJA operates in hired /rented buildings with 9 (nine) rooms at cost of 20,000/=per room 9x 20,000=180,000/= per month. Money is paid in the 3month term always the AMOUNT OF 540,000/=Equiv to 540, US$(more details are found in the F.C BUDGET)

ORIGIN AND THE MEANINGOF THE NAME:
FARAJA is a Kiswahili word which means COMFORT or CONSOLATION and this original reason and the nature of the centre of FARAJA to comfort and consulate the desperate people, children in particulat, HIV/AIDS victims’ kids in difficult, environment elders etc.
These people need comfort of the society some have lost their parents /single, husbands, wives, families’ etc.FARAJA lives to serve such persons.

MAIN NEEDS OF FARAJA:
Our major and most important needs which repeatedly up set FARAJA management always are :-

Food,drinks&fruits.....................................Tshs 180,000/= a Week or 180 USD
Rent costs....................................................Tshs 180,000/= a Month or 180 USD
Workers salaries(6 workers ).....................Tshs 660,000/= a Month or 660 USD
Clothes& shoes............................................Tshs 2,500,000/= a Year or 2,500 USD
Education cost............................................Tshs 280,000/= a Month or 280 USD

INCOME OF FARAJA:
As we pointed out at first FARAJA ORRG. Is the registered TZ N.G.O which is also –Non productives, non –profitable organization currently?
N: B- FARAJA Can only exist if you give your contributions after reading or listening and under standing this short History of FARAJA The FARAJA ORPHANAGE Survives by the support of gifts of any body from internal and External Tanzania .help in a form of money Food stuff, clothes, services, Drinks Fruits etc.Any body in TZ or outside TZ is warmly welcomed to SPONSOR this orphanage Centre no gift or an offering which is too small for FARAJA
